American Orient Express
I grew up around trains as I come from a railroading background. I always dreamed of taking a long vacation on a luxury train. Now it looks like travelers will have one less option to do that, as GrandLuxe Rail Journeys a company based in CO, and offered US Train Luxury Tours, halted their operations in Aug 2008. GrandLuxe Rail Journeys bought American Orient Express in 2006. It seems that train travel in the US has become less and less popular, and the vacation industry as a whole is not doing well.
